First Saturday Each Month Wiltshire Farmers Market

On the first Saturday of the month it's the Wiltshire Farmers Market. It takes place in the Market Square, Devizes from 9am 'til 1pm with local artisan food, crafts and top quality goods available to purchase directly from the producers.

To 22 Apr 18 Exhibition: The Winds and Words of War

EXHIBITION: The Winds and Words of War. WWI Posters and Prints from the San Antonio Public Library Collection.

This evocative exhibition of First World War American propaganda posters is on a two year tour of Europe and will be in Devizes until the 22nd of April 2018. Wiltshire Museum here in Devizes is the only UK venue.

Saturdays Slimming World

Every Saturday at 9am and 11am, pop along to Slimming World at the Nursteed Centre. Lose weight and feel great. Join the gang and make new friends whilst receiving some great support to help you lose weight.

4-21 December Devizes Lions Santa Tours

The Devizes Lions will once again be out-and-about across town with their Santa Sleigh, delivering carols and raising money for local good causes. All tours start at 5-30 and finish by 8pm. Here's where they'll be visiting:

  • Monday 18th December
    Marshal Road, Reeves Road, Ferguson Road, Byron Road, Thomas Wyatt Road, Audrey Road, Eyles Road, Newman Road.
  • Tuesday 19th December
    Wick Lane, Wickfield, Orchard Close, Tintern Road, Downlands Road, Woodland Way, Fruitfield Close.
  • Wednesday 20th December
    Hillworth Road, West View Cresc, Pinetum Close, The Moorlands, Cornwall Cresc, Hartmoor Road to Queens Road, Queens Road.
  • Thursday 21st December  
    The Breach (Pans Road end), Broadleas Crescent, Broadleas Close, Broadleas Park, Broadleas Road. 

Sun 17 Dec Christmas Cabaret

Devizes Town Band is holding its Christmas Cabaret on Sunday the 17th of December. It’s in the Corn Exchange, Devizes at 2:30pm. There will be classic Christmas music and party songs, families are very welcome. The programme includes Christmas sing-alongs, games and prizes, and all children will receive a gift!

Thu 21 Dec White Horse Opera Christmas Concert

Tickets are now on sale for White Horse Opera's Christmas Concert to be held on Thursday 21st December at 7.30pm in St Mary's Church Devizes. It will be a real treat with stunning Christmas pieces by Chilcott, Fauré, Gardner, Lauridsen, Skempton, Warlock and others as well as rousing sing-a-long carols. Come and enjoy mince pies with a glass or two of mulled wine and get into the festive spirit with The White Horse Opera. Tickets are £10 from Devizes Books and on-line at Ticketsource.

Sat 23 Dec Carols on the Wharf

Everyone is welcome to join the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust for traditional carol singing and Christmas readings on Saturday the 23rd of December, from 6.30pm. It will feature music by the Devizes Town Band. This is an outdoor event but seating under cover will be provided. Mince pies and mulled wine will be served. Entry is free but donations are welcome.

Fri 5 Jan Twelfth Night Revels

There's an evening of misrule and merriment with Twelfth Night Revels at Wiltshire Museum in Long Street. Starring the Potterne Mummers and their very own Lord of Misrule. Refreshments and live music, a tempting raffle and much more! Tickets are £15 at the Museum Shop or telephone 01380 727369 or on-line at wiltshiremuseum.org.uk/events - proceeds from the evening will benefit the museum's appeal to secure the fabulous, ‘family friendly’ Snakes exhibition for 2019.

Sat 24 Feb The Ultimate Garth Brooks Experience

The Ultimate Garth Brooks Experience comes to Bromham on Saturday the 24th of February. As the only authentic Garth Brooks tribute anywhere in Europe, Blame It All On My Roots offers a unique and rare opportunity to experience the music of one of the world’s most prolific and prestigious country artists.
