Regular Events

Tuesdays Men's Shed

Men's Shed runs every Tuesday from 10 'til 1. It's open to men and women at Needham House in Victoria Road, Devizes, and it's a chance for you to work on community projects, or one of your own.

Wednesdays Devizes Children’s Choir

On Wednesdays from 4.30 to 5.30pm the Devizes Children’s Choir takes place at the Baptist Church Hall Sheep Street. This is a children’s community choir for children from Year 1 upwards. They have been running for just under a year and their aim is to sing for fun and to go out and about in the community. The team sings at local events in the community, and at places like care homes. There are currently 24 children but would like to increase their numbers into their second year. For more information or to get involved call Heather Flower on 01380 722013.

Thursdays Salsa

The Devizes Salsa Classes on a Thursday Night have moved! They are now at Needham House in Victoria Road, so pop along for the best Salsa fun in town, 7.30pm on Thursday evenings.

Saturdays Slimming World

Every Saturday at 9am and 11am, pop along to Slimming World at the Nursteed Centre. Lose weight and feel great. Join the gang and make new friends whilst receiving some great support to help you lose weight.

First Saturday Each Month Wiltshire Farmers Market

On the first Saturday of the month it's the Wiltshire Farmers Market. It takes place in the Market Square, Devizes from 9am 'til 1pm with local artisan food, crafts and top quality goods available to purchase directly from the producers.


Fri 22 Feb Devizes MS Support Group

The MS Society are planning to set up a MS support group for people living with MS in the Devizes area. Whether you are a MS sufferer or a carer please come along to meet other people at their coffee morning. They look forward to meeting you on Friday the 22nd of February from 10am 'til 12pm at the Devizes Bowls Club in Long Street, Devizes.

Sat 23 Feb Northern Soul

At the Conservative Club on Saturday the 23rd of February, DJ Terry Hendrick plays all your favourite Northern Soul tunes - all from vinyl! Tickets are £5 in advance or £7 on the door, and doors open at 7.30pm.

Wed 27 Feb Fairtrade Wine and Chocolate Tasting

Come along to the Fairtrade Wine and Chocolate Tasting event on Wednesday the 27th of February. It takes place at the Devizes Town Hall. You will have a chance to taste Fairtrade wines and chocolate, and enjoy tea or coffee and snacks. There will be stalls selling Fairtrade produce, and information about how Fairtrade improves the lives of people in developing countries.

Devizes has been a Fairtade Town since 2006, and this is an event for Fairtrade Fortnight 2019. Tickets cost £5, and are available from Devizes Bookshop or on the door. Find out more at


Fri 1 Mar AC/DC Tribute

At The Exchange Nightclub here in town it's the best AC/DC tribute band in the UK -- Hell's Bells are back by popular demand, on Friday the 1st of March.

Sat 2 Mar Kyla Brox Band

The finest blues singer of her generation Kyla Brox comes to the Long Street Blues Club Devizes on Saturday the 2nd of March. With such intensity in any live performance, this is her first visit to Devizes with her full band.

2 Mar - 28 Apr Snakes: A Slither into a Secret World

At Wiltshire Museum, Devizes from the 2nd of March until the 28th of April 2019 there's a fabulous, family-friendly exhibition all about Snakes.

A perfect trip out for families with pre-schoolers and primary age children. Using taxidermy, skeletal mounts and award-winning photography, the exhibition reveals some amazing facts about these 'love them or hate them' creatures who first appeared on earth 100 million years ago.

Some of the amazing specimens on display include a King Cobra, Puff adder, Rattlesnakes, Pythons and many more.

The Museum will also be running a variety of drop-in craft activities over the Easter holidays where kids can be creative and make lots of things to take home.

Tue 5 Mar Quiz & Pancakes

It's the Ladies Evening Group at St Andrew's Church on Tuesday the 5th of March, come along for Shrove Tuesday Quiz Night & Pancakes, from 7pm at the church in Long Street.

Thu 7 Mar Moonrakers Comedy Night

At The Bear Hotel Cellarbar on Thursday the 7th of March it's the Moonrakers Comedy Night. MC Ed Pownall presents Jon Wagstaffe, Tewkesbury’s finest and only stand-up comic. His take on modern life will have any audience in fits of laughter. 

Headlining is Richard Morton, a stand-up comedian, singer/songwriter, composer, TV/radio presenter, documentary maker, Time Out Comedy Award winner and founder member of the London Comedy Store’s long-running Cutting Edge show.

Sat 9 Mar The Stone Mountain Sinners

The Stone Mountain Sinners band will be appearing at Devizes Ameripolitan Music Club with support from talented local singer songwriter Jamie R Hawkins. Anyone is welcome to attend this event. We are also a family friendly Club. Tickets are £7 for adults, under 18s go free.

Sat 16 Mar Jumble Sale

There's a Jumble Sale on Saturday the 16th of March at the Worton and Marston Village Hall. It's a traditional village jumble sale with good quality second hand clothing, household items, books, children's toys and general bric-a-brac.

Entry 50p, and it runs from 2 'til 4pm with all proceeds going to village hall maintenance fund.

Fri 29 Mar The Who Tribute

At The Exchange Nightclub here in The Corn Exchange, the premier tribute band Who's Next perform on Friday the 29th of March, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the cult film Quadrophenia.

Sat 6 Apr Spring Coffee Morning

There's a coffee morning taking place on Saturday the 6th of April, supporting WaterAid. It takes place at St Andrew's Church from 10am 'til 12 noon, with a cake stall and a tombola.


Fri 17 May UB40 Tribute

At The Exchange Nightclub here in town it's the best UB40 tribute in the UK, johnny2bad perform on Friday the 17th May.

5-9 Jul Devizes Scooter Rally

The Devizes Scooter Rally comes to town between the 5th and 9th of July. A Fresh New Rally with all the traditional scooter Rally values. Guaranteed to be a weekend packed with fun and quality live music.

There will be trophies, fun and games, 7 bands + DJs, a Beer Tent and food and drink outlets. Rally merchandise available, and everyone's welcome to enjoy the weekend entertainment and camping.
