21-26 Oct Living Together

Living Together by Alan Ayckbourn runs at The Wharf Theatre from the 21st to the 26th of October.

When the Norman Conquests (named after the play's leading character, assistant librarian Norman, as opposed to the Kings William and Harold!) burst onto the theatre-going public in the early 1970s, they were a revelation. Here was domestic comedy that spoke to everyone; intelligent, well-observed and extremely funny. Today they are regarded as possibly Ayckbourn’s most ingeniously constructed set of plays.

Tickets can be purchased from Ticketsource or at the Devizes Community Hub and Library on Sheep Street.

Sat 26 Oct North Bradley Pumpkin Trail

The North Bradley Pumpkin Trail takes place on the 26th of October. There are over 30 pumpkins on a trail around the village. At each pumpkin you put your hand in a feely box to reveal a letter to spell a word. At the end of the trial come and collect your prize. £2.50 per child. Refreshments and entertainment at the North Bradley Peace Memorial Hall afterwards.
