Regular Events

Wednesdays Devizes Children’s Choir

On Wednesdays from 4.30 to 5.30pm the Devizes Children’s Choir takes place at the Baptist Church Hall Sheep Street. This is a children’s community choir for children from Year 1 upwards. They have been running for just under a year and their aim is to sing for fun and to go out and about in the community. The team sings at local events in the community, and at places like care homes. There are currently 24 children but would like to increase their numbers into their second year. For more information or to get involved call Heather Flower on 01380 722013.

Thursdays Salsa

The Devizes Salsa Classes on a Thursday Night have moved! They are now at Needham House in Victoria Road, so pop along for the best Salsa fun in town, 7.30pm on Thursday evenings.

Saturdays Slimming World

Every Saturday at 9am and 11am, pop along to Slimming World at the Nursteed Centre. Lose weight and feel great. Join the gang and make new friends whilst receiving some great support to help you lose weight.

First Saturday Each Month Wiltshire Farmers Market

On the first Saturday of the month it's the Wiltshire Farmers Market. It takes place in the Market Square, Devizes from 9am 'til 1pm with local artisan food, crafts and top quality goods available to purchase directly from the producers.

Phil Cooper performs Live at The Southgate Inn from 8.30pm on Saturday the 19th of January.

Sat 26 Jan Be Well & Beautiful

Be Well & Beautiful takes place at The Corn Exchange on Saturday the 26th of January; the Devizes Holistic Wellbeing Event runs from 10am 'til 2pm.

An interactive event for those interested in holistic wellbeing, spirituality, health & beauty.

Stallholders will be offering mini treatments/therapies, psychic readings & more including talks by speakers in the  Words Of Wellness Corner

Experience tarot readers, Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Reiki and Beauty Products. Saturday the 26th of January at The Corn Exchange.

Sat 26 Jan Martyn Williams

The comedy hypnotist Martyn Williams comes to the Potterne Social Club on Saturday the 26th of January, from 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 in advance or £10 on the door.

Sat 19 Jan Rick Wakeman's KGB

Following their two sell-out dates at Ronnie Scott's earlier this year, Rick Wakeman and his KGB trio will be playing a "one off" show at the Devizes Corn Exchange on Saturday the 19th of January. This will be a rare opportunity to see the unique line up of Rick Wakeman, Dave Colquhoun and Matt Pegg.

Sat 9 Feb DDOC Fundraiser

Rockhoppaz are a locally based rock band who together with Wadworth Brewery Visitors Centre are holding a fundraising evening for The Devizes & District Opportunity Centre, on Saturday the 9th of February. DDOC provide vital support for pre-school children with additional needs and their families.

The DDOC fundraiser is an evening of live music with the fine ales.....what more could you wish for! Tickets are available from the Visitors Centre or the DDOC and are just £5 with all proceeds going to support local children in need.

Sat 9 Feb The Coco Club

Ever wanted to experience a nightclub portraying the music, glamour and style of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers? Well that’s exactly what the 1930s Coco Club does. It celebrates the golden age of British Dance Band music, with hints of Europe and Latin America thrown in. 

Headlining the Coco Club's debut in Devizes, in the beautiful surroundings of the Ceres Hall at the Corn Exchange, will be the wonderful 11-piece Red Fez Orchestra featuring vocalist Kate Skellern. 

This very friendly evening successfully integrates people of all age groups, and the level of dancing is varied, so anyone can move around the floor just as it suits them or just enjoy the atmosphere and music. 

The Coco Club Valentine’s Ball is on Saturday 9th February.
Doors open 7.30pm; Carriages 11.30pm. A Licensed bar will be available.

15-16 Feb Devizes Festival of Winter Ales

Now a regular fixture in the Devizes entertainment calendar, the Devizes Festival of Winter Ales event is a fund-raiser for DOCA, to help support the many free events which they provide each year.

A great beer and cider selection curated by the Stealth Brew Co, hot pies, live acoustic music and a live cabaret act. 

Admission for over 18s only by advance ticket. Ticket price includes a souvenir glass and your first pint.

There's a session on the evening of Friday the 15th, a session on Saturday afternoon and another on the evening of Saturday the 16th. More details online at docadevizes.org.uk

Fri 22 Feb Devizes MS Support Group

The MS Society are planning to set up a MS support group for people living with MS in the Devizes area. Whether you are a MS sufferer or a carer please come along to meet other people at their coffee morning. They look forward to meeting you on Friday the 22nd of February from 10am 'til 12pm at the Devizes Bowls Club in Long Street, Devizes.

Sat 16 Mar Jumble Sale

There's a Jumble Sale on Saturday the 16th of March at the Worton and Marston Village Hall. It's a traditional village jumble sale with good quality second hand clothing, household items, books, children's toys and general bric-a-brac.

Entry 50p, and it runs from 2 'til 4pm with all proceeds going to village hall maintenance fund.

5-9 Jul Devizes Scooter Rally

The Devizes Scooter Rally comes to town between the 5th and 9th of July. A Fresh New Rally with all the traditional scooter Rally values. Guaranteed to be a weekend packed with fun and quality live music.

There will be trophies, fun and games, 7 bands + DJs, a Beer Tent and food and drink outlets. Rally merchandise available, and everyone's welcome to enjoy the weekend entertainment and camping.
